Goals were tangible and easy to follow, gym time was almost limitless, overuse injuries were rare / ignored and intensity was savage...if it didn't hurt it wasn't right, if we couldn't walk the next day it wasn't hard enough.

What actually is The Recharge Club?
The Recharge Club is for those wanting to retain or regain their youthful physical exuberance. It's a collective group of people who understand the importance of regular activity and sport and want to make the most of their current performance whilst not compromising longevity.
As part of the club you'll receive 2 weekly workouts and a technical tutorial. These workouts may follow a logical progression over a set period of weeks or be dictated by the clubs wants, needs and curiosities.

What does it include?
Weekly, you'll receive:
- Supple-Strength Home Session - A 15-30 minute session focusing on suppleness and body weight strength. This session can be performed at home with minimal equipment or with an open space.
- Strength and/or Conditioning Session - Up to a 45 minute session with minimal equipment focusing on Strength, Endurance and maintaining lean body mass, the main attributes of a complete athlete.
- Technical Tutorial Video - A 5-10 minute video diving into exercise technique, principles of training, key concepts and anything important to know and consider. These videos are like to 'Power-Ups' that will bring new effectiveness to other workouts.

Who is The Recharge Club for?
The Club is for anyone, however it was designed with this person in mind:
- Mostly males in their 30's & 40's.
- Previous sport and exercise experience. Has used a gym previously.
- Struggling with injuries such as lower back pain, sore knees and bad shoulders.
- Relatively time strapped. Has to fit physical activity in and around a busy work and life schedule.
- Currently competing in a sport or recreational activity or planning to.
- Interested in improving flexibility, posture, stability and alignment.
- Wants to maintain an optimal body fat and weight through this isn't a priority.
- Aims to build a sustainable long term healthy balanced routine.
- Would like to improve exercise technique. Is interested in performing things well prior to heavy
Who is NOT for?
The club was not designed for the following:
- Suffering any severe medical conditions or severe joint injuries or limitations
- Bodybuilders or anyone looking to drop body fat into single figures
- People who are not easily self motivated (bespoke personal coaching would suit you)
- Those with no prior exercise or gym training experience
- If primary goals are weight and fat loss this plan isn't for you
What result can I expect?
You'll experience reduced joint and muscle soreness, better posture, more range of movement, improved general fitness, increased exercise knowledge...the list goes on.
Also you don't need to think or worry about health & fitness, it's done for you. Just plug in and train, anywhere. This will allow you time to focus on what's truly important like family, friends, sport and work.

What have people said about training with Chilli?

Now, issues with my back are incredibly few and far between and the recovery is miles quicker compared to before I started training with Chilli. Previously every 5/6 weeks I would be all but written off for a week or so with horrendous back spasms and lock outs.

Whether it was a psychological thing or an actual physical thing, I'm not sure, but when I trained with Chilli I was knocking more people out. The training links with what I'm doing in the ring and there's a real crossover between gym and boxing, which I haven't had before.

Where & when will sessions take place?
The sessions can be performed at your home, work or gym. The Supple Strength session is a 'follow-along' session. You simply setup the video and move through the workout with me. The S&C session uses the Real Performance training app as shown in the clip.
No sessions are live therefore you can complete them at any time of day or any day of the week. |
What makes me (Chilli) different from other trainers?
My years & breath of experience trump my qualifications by far. With over 10 years of Personal Training and Strength & Conditioning coaching under my belt I've worked with literally thousands of people with varying ages and abilities. I'm also the guy who trains the trainers.
However, I've also lived the struggle. From mental health issues as a youngster to a long list of joint injuries and ongoing problems I've had to find a way to train that works for my body whilst keeping me at the top of my sport, Rugby.
