Nutrition Challenge - Scoring System

Any good challenge will have a scoring system to monitor progress and set benchmarks. This challenge is no different. Here they are, pick which one resonates with you:

School Scoring

100% = The Schools Star Pupil
90-100% = A* Star Student
80-90% = A’s and B’s mostly
70-80% = Average
60-70% = Stay behind after school
<60% = You’re being held back a year

The percentage represents success rate. This differs from person to person. E.g one person may measure compliant breakfast whilst another may measure no alcohol daily.
Rockstar Scoring

100% = International Superstar
90-100% = National Treasure
80-90% = Regional Hero
70-80% = Pub Classic
60-70% = Saturday Night Karaoke
<60% = Drunk hooligan

Stars & Medal Scoring

100% = 5 Stars - Gold
90-100% = 4 Stars - Silver
80-90% = 3 Stars - Bronze
70-80% = 2 Stars - 4th Place
60-70% = 1 Star - 5th Place
<60% = Zero Stars - Disqualified

These scoring ideas are meant to be a bit of fun though they represent habits that are a little more serious.

Important

You may attempt a challenge and finish at ‘50% compliance - Drunk Hooligan’. It’s important to not view this as failure. We call this feedback. We assess what went well, what didn’t and plan for next time. Feedback is often more valuable than instant success. Here is a nice video of a few people we know well who began on the failure path early.
